Technical notes
  • You can use the Zoom software from your computer, notebook, tablet or smartphone. Prior to contacting us we suggest you try out which solution works best for you. This website (German only) may help you out.
  • To access our advisory service you would need a computer/notebook or a tablet/smartphone that has (a camera or at least) headphones and a microphone included. Having a camera available would ease the conversation but is not necessarily required. You may want to check all functions beforehand by using the instructions on this website (German only). Simply scoll downward and choose an option below the headline "An Meetings teilnehmen".
  • You probably will be asked to download the Zoom-Client or install the relevant application to your tablet or smartphone when clicking on the link. However you also should be able to access the Meeting on your browser. Just try out what works best for you.
  • If you'd like to stay anonymous you can choose any name (even a nickname) when accessing the Meeting..
Data protection

Please recognize the data protection regulations of Zoom (German only) before contacting us.

For legal reasons you would have to be at least 16 years to attend this meeting.

Also you can always contact us by sending us an e-mail to zsb@uni-bielefeld.de.

A quick note when calling us: While we are currently mainly working from Home Office it appears that you hear a dial tone even while we're occupied by another phone call (instead of hearing a busy tone). In this case, please try the other number or try again a little later.

During our opening hours, you can ask for information, discuss personal concerns and, if necessary, arrange follow-up appointments.

As soon as we return to business as usual our drop-in advice service is organised in such a way that you can simply come to the ZSB and take a seat in our waiting area (Building X, Room E1-224). We will pick you up from there.
