Behavioural interactions in Galápagos Sea Lions

My work focuses on the social interactions during the early lives of Galàpagos Sea Lions, their stability over time and the possible impact they may have on later life fitness. As a species that is known to hunt cooperatively and now subjected to increasingly extreme variations in their environment through the El Niño and La Niña phenomenon, understanding this species early interactions with their conspecifics could have important implications on their foraging success as adults.
