Main research interests:
- Asymptotic approximations of local and global spectra of random matrices and analogues of classical limit theorems in free noncommutative probability.
- Concentration of measure in high-dimensional probability spaces and manifolds, in particular for non linear functions and entropic convergence in the Central Limit Theorem and its asymptotic refinements.
- Lattice point counting problems, distribution of quadratic and higher order forms on lattices, Diophantine inequalities and approximations in metric number theory, correlations in classes of Epstein and Shintani zeta functions
Research projects:
- Research project "Universal and asymptotic distributions in high-dimensional probability and applications" in the Collaborative Research Centre 1283 funded by the German Research Foundation
- Participation in the International Research Training Group 2235 funded by the German Research Foundation
- Research project "Distribution and Correlation of Homogeneous and Random Forms" jointly with Jörg Brüdern, Göttingen, and Valentin Blomer, Bonn, funded by the German Research Foundation
