Leaders around the world declare their commitment to multilateralism, but do they all mean the same? The doctoral research project aims to provide an analysis of Russia's understanding of multilateralism. The engagement of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Russian Federation will be examined within different international organizations and different time periods to present an overview of the concept of multilateralism. To understand these formations, changes and continuities the doctoral project analyzes these embedded structures and actors on the global level. A comprehensive look at the activities within different international organizations should provide an explanation of Russia's engagement within these international organizations and finally contribute to Russia's understanding as a multilateral actor.

-> Überschriften: Umbruch in diversen Überschriften verhindern.
-> TEASER-Elemente in gleichmäßigem Raster anordnen.
