Mission

The private home is a highly sensible and individual environment for human living. The COSY@Home-Lab explores cooperative intelligent systems that improve the human's flexibility, independence, autonomy and comfort. At the same time the human should feel cosy which requires technology to understand which support is needed or not needed in which situation. Intelligent systems have to build trust in their cooperative behavior with humans.

The Innovation Lab applies the basic research questions of CITEC to domestic scenarios to explore their consequences and impact for home environments. This leads to innovations regarding the multiple ways of interaction between humans and intelligent robots, agents, and smart environments in tasks of daily living.
