Glovebox

In our work group we use four gloveboxes (Braun and GS Glovebox Systemtechnik), which are operated with argon as inert gas. The glovebox is the tool of choice for inert sample preparation and handling both large and very small quantities of hazardous and highly reactive substances. All gloveboxes are equipped with freezers (−30 °C) for the storage of temperature-sensitive compounds.
