Svenja Kenneweg

Svenja Kenneweg is a PhD student in the Semantic Computing Group at Bielefeld University. She studied Cognitive Informatics for her Bachelor Degree and Intelligent Systems for her Master Degree at the University of Bielefeld, where she gathered experience in numerous machine learning projects.
She wrote her master thesis in the working group Cognitronics and Sensor Systems about reinforcement learning on a mini robot. After this, she obtained a year and a half of work experience on Cognitive Systems in this working group.
In order to deepen her knowledge related to Cognitive Systems and to get new knowledge in the areas of Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies and Semantic Web technologies, she moved to the Semantic Computing Group in February 2023. There she is working on the Project Knowledge Engineering and her research tasks include: Dynamic updating of Knowledge Graphs based on environmental variables and reasoning based on Knowledge Graphs to control human-robot interaction.
