Reduced opening hours of the Bielefeld University Library

Monday to Friday 9.00 to 16.00
Public Holidays, Saturday & Sunday: closed

Only the main library entrances D1 and U1 in the main university building and the library entrance in building X are open. The ZiF ​Library (Centre for Interdisciplinary Research) is closed.

Each time you enter the library, your valid personal library card (UniCard or barcode card) must be scanned independently at the automatic self-registration machine provided for this purpose. If no valid personal library card can be presented, a registration form must be filled out.

In the library the wearing of a medical mask is obligatory for all persons. In principle, a minimum distance of 1.50 m must be maintained between persons.
