Even promising dissertation projects can fail when implemented under everyday working conditions. To prevent from such failures this hands-on online-workshop teaches self- and time management skills which are useful to build up working routines and create realistic time schedules for the PhD project. To do so the participants reflect which time-management type they are and under which conditions they perform most productively. They analyze their workload, identify personal “time thieves”, learn to set priorities and to handle their tasks effectively and efficiently. The workshop´s methods include individual and group work, input and discussions and the attendees will profit from sharing their experiences with peers and with the trainer. In addition they will develop individual remedies against the smaller or larger setbacks of a PhD project
