A PhD brings about great changes in life. However, we often focus on content-related and academic challenges and don’t find the time to think about the ‘why’ or ‘what for’ of our research work.
This workshop offers a space to reflect on issues of purpose, integrity and identity. We use writing to explore how we can ‘make sense’ and find a sustainable balance in our academic workplaces and beyond.

Trainer:
Dr. Vera Leberecht (Maastricht/NL) studied Linguistics, Intercultural Communication and Theology in Germany and Finland. She worked at Maastricht University Language Centre for several years before starting her own training and consulting business in 2008. She is enthusiastic about empowering professionals to communicate with reason and resonance, in academia and beyond.
