In this workshop for PhD students and other early-career researchers, we explore what it takes to publish more professionally and successfully in your discipline.
- We discuss and work on these topics:
- develop your standing as a research writer, and claim & own your research space
- changing perspectives: write and revise with your readers in mind
- constructive peer feedback and cooperative writing strategies
- responding professionally to supervisor and reviewer comments
Trainer:
Dr. Vera Leberecht (Maastricht/NL) studied Linguistics, Intercultural Communication and Theology in Germany and Finland. She worked at Maastricht University Language Centre for several years before starting her own training and consulting business in 2008. She is enthusiastic about empowering professionals to communicate with reason and resonance, in academia and beyond.
