Stock-Apparatus

The Stock high vacuum system is a handmade glass apparatus with young Hahn valves, which operates at a vacuum of 3x10^-3 mbar. Since the volume of the apparatus is known, the ideal gas law can be used to determine the quantity of substances used. This allows simple stoichiometric work with gases and volatile substances.
